the Sealy Venice in the Queen---I had been looking at the top of the line latex

Hello Peter: Thanks for answering as best you could my question I posed on the
forum. It turns out that we finally found a company locally in the Mesa, AZ
area that handles the Sealy Reflexion line: The Room Store. We tried both of
the mattresses they had displayed: the Huntington Beach, and the Venice beach.
While we were considering the Newport Beach, we decided to go with the Venice
Beach. We called this past Saturday (May 7th), and were well taken care of by
Janine. Even with shipping costs (and the purchase of 2 Sealy Latex pillows),
we still saved over $300. Thanks so much for the education on mattresses...and
if anyone in the west or southwestern US has any doubts that it may be worth
their while to purchase their mattress, let them know how much we saved!

the hardest mattress I could find because I was always told "The harder the
better". I bought the Sealy Reflexion Newport Beach and once I got used to

I recently purchased 3 mattress and box spring sets from Pete at CC mattress,
including a Sealy latex Waikiki. I went to the store in NJ to pick everything
out. Dealing with Pete was a great experience. We did have one issue with one
of the pieces that was resolved very quickly and with no hassle whatsoever. I
would recommend CC mattress to anyone reading here. I did lots of research

Peter, What can I say other than, "D-mn, you know your stuff !" I purchased the
Sealy Postropedic with the cushion firm pad last Tuesday... I haven't slept
this well in years ! The firmness took a little getting used to for the first
couple nights but, I don't wake due to any kind of presure point pain. Once I
found the correct pillow (I have several) to complete the mattress.... perfect.

I just wanted to comment on my experience with Peter and his store. Consider
yourselves lucky that there is a mattress expert who is honest and upfront
about things, and won't tell you "what you want to hear" to get your business.
I went to the store in NJ, and was immediately greeted by Peter and his
daughter. There was NO pressure from anyone to buy. They told me to "come back
tomorrow", "think about it", "talk to your wife"...all the stuff that typical
salesman NEVER say to you. Anyhow, I chose the Solana Beach bed, which has been
super comfy. (And it is definitely 16 inches high!) Peter tells it like it is,

We live in CA and Ive spent the last 3 days reading your Q&A on the web.
What a wealth of information you are!! The salesman at Sleep Train was pretty
surprised at how much I knew about the beds and was taken aback when I told him
NO way on the Simmons he was trying to push on us. I spoke to Lygia on Saturday
about the Waikiki Reflexion we were going to buy here and I spoke to you twice
on Sunday. I can tell you we need people like you here in CA! You are both so
helpful and wonderful and no BS!! We ended up changing our minds on the
Reflexion and got an Ultra Plush Eurotop Sealy Postur-pedic mainly due to being
able to get it quickly (1 day vs. 4 wks.) and it was less expensive thanks to
your prices and their policy of matching it and beating it by 5%. I dont think
well be disappointed after talking to you and reading all you have to say
about the SPs and it felt GREAT in the store. We did order the Sealy Latex
pillows from you and I look forward to getting those. I wish we could have got
the bed from you too. If time wasnt a factor, we surely would have!!! We have
friends in PA and Ill be recommending you to them when they buy their new bed

don't want to get out of bed when the alarm goes off for work. Using the
information you provided in your web-site to make my purchase, I feel I made a
very good selection and got the best price available. Some good things to say
about dealing with your company: Your web-site was one of the most informative
ones on mattresses, as a matter of fact the only retail company that provided
any useful, objective and fair pricing information online. On the phone and in
e-mails: quick, helpful & honest answers received. Price, the best out
there and no gimmicks attached (one company wanted $90 for a metal bed frame).
The "big" retail companies in the area and department stores don't even come
close on any of the above. Some things you don't need to do: Pay for
advertising, you are wasting your money if you do. The customer referrals I'm
sure you get from the great service you provide must give you more than enough
advertising. As you now know, as soon as someone mentions they are shopping for
a mattress, I will refer them directly to C & C. Thanks for making the

This is not a question, it is a statement. At the risk of being accused of advertising,
may I say that we just had a very positive experience buying a mattress set
(S & F Ellastone king-size) from Peter's C & C Mattress Co. Not only were his prices fair
and he and his daughter helpful and informative, but we felt that they were very honest
(no small thing when dealing with mattress companies.) His is a small company and we felt
we were given personal treatment. Highly recommended.
